Now that your students have finished going through their online course material and have successfully completed their end-of-course exams, what’s going to happen next? Offering a “Certificate” is a great motivator for the many learners and offers something tangible declaring their training success.
Students can print their own or have them printed by the training staff and forwarded post class. The completion certificate can also be a valuable addition to an employee’s file of accomplishments and training history.
Also, once courses are complete, training managers can create post-class discussion groups for designated courses in the integrated collaboration tool. This tools links the group to an external collaboration facility via the Student Menu and offers a live chat or posting option. The built-in Message Board offers discussion forums and posting options, as well. The collaboration tool facilitates instructor responses to posted questions and comments.
Finally, your post class activities can include ad hoc reporting for user-defined reports, quantifying test results in numbers and graphs, comparing completion test scores with required scores per course and per test.
These post class options will help tie together the learning experience, the course content content and course completion experience.
